Mr. Ang has held pivotal regional and management board-level positions at Citibank, ANZ, DBS, RBS, and Siemens Financial Services — spanning consumer, business, and private banking, wealth management, leasing, and commercial finance. He also served as Managing Director of a MAS-licensed private equity firm, overseeing strategic fund formation and investment compliance. His expertise is forged from direct participation in core institutional governance bodies, including Risk Management, ALCO, IT Management, and Country Operations committees, as an accountable member where business, strategy, risk, and operational outcomes carried real consequences.

Mr. Ang's view of advisory was shaped by his 12-year immersive tenure in China. There, he navigated complex regulatory landscapes, drove market entry, and scaled new businesses from the ground up. His self-imposed extensive review of thousands of due diligence reports and on-site visits across China has given him great insights into the SME landscape. He channels this experience by practising institutional discipline with commercial pragmatism, guiding clients across AXSEA's full advisory mandate.

Dr. Tan Kim Song is a distinguished economist and strategic advisor with a career spanning global finance, public policy, and private equity. As Co-Managing Partner at AXSEA & Associates, he spearheads the firm's public policy, macroeconomics research, strategic consultation and cross-border advisory practice, leveraging deep geopolitical and policy expertise to guide clients through the complexities of emerging markets.

Dr. Tan’s professional pedigree includes significant advisory work with the world’s leading financial organizations, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, OECD, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the People’s Bank of China (PBOC). He has served as Managing Director for U.S. Fleet Boston Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank, primarily in fixed-income business across Asia. Additionally, he was a founding partner of Frontier Investment and Development Partners, a private equity firm focused on the Mekong region.

In his capacity as a trusted board director and advisor, Dr. Tan has served several prominent entities, including Hotel Royal Ltd (SGX:H12), Carlsberg Myanmar, Lottee-MGS, Herman Capital and others.

Mr. Christopher Wong is an accomplished Risk and Compliance professional with over 25 years of experience in the global asset management industry. As Partner at AXSEA & Associates, he leads the firm's governance, risk and compliance advisory practice, bringing institutional-grade expertise to clients navigating regulatory complexity across the region.

Mr. Wong spent the past 12 years as Regional Head of Risk and Compliance at EFG Asset Management ("EFGAM"), where he was responsible for overseeing the firm's compliance framework, corporate governance structure, and risk management across the region. He also served as a company director and member of EFGAM's Management Committee. Prior to joining EFGAM, he held senior leadership roles at leading financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Capital Group, LaSalle Investment Management, and DBS Asset Management.

Prior to joining EFGAM, Mr. Wong was responsible for regulatory compliance and investment surveillance at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Earlier in his career, he served as Regional Risk and Compliance Officer at LaSalle Investment Management and Capital Group, where he led the design and implementation of the firm's operational risk and compliance frameworks. Mr. Wong began his career as an auditor at KPMG.

Mr. Raymond Cheung is an accomplished C-suite executive, entrepreneur, and board director with over two decades of leadership experience across healthcare, fintech, ESG, and financial services. As Group CEO of Basel Medical Group (Nasdaq: BMGL), he led the company to a successful IPO in February 2025, executed strategic acquisitions, and delivered $28M in synergies while strengthening financial governance and capital efficiency.

A visionary in digital transformation, Mr. Cheung founded multiple fintech and insurtech ventures, including a microloan platform serving over 100,000 unbanked users in Indonesia. As Regional Insurance Lead at Grab, he pioneered cross-border digital insurance solutions across eight ASEAN markets. He also served as Chief Risk Officer for several MAS-regulated entities, including ECXX, AIG Asia Pacific, and Asia Capital Re, where he developed robust compliance and risk management frameworks.

Mr. Cheung holds independent director appointments on SGX and Nasdaq-listed boards. He is also a respected lecturer and trainer at institutions such as NTU, SMU, ESSEC, and the Singapore College of Insurance, having trained more than 1,000 professionals in climate risk, sustainability-linked finance, and enterprise risk management.
